Kinsley Ezera Kalu, a complainant before the Independent Investigative Panel on Allegations of Human Rights Violations by defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and other Units of the Nigeria Police on Thursday narrated how SARS operative in Abuja shot him on his left leg while on an evening outing with his wife, on 18th of October, 2017.

A complainant, Marcus Odianose, at the Independent Investigative Panel on allegations of human rights violations by the defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and other units of the Nigerian Police, on Thursday presented a certified true copy of judgement from the FCT high court awarding him N1 million (one million naira) in respect of the cruel and inhuman and degrading treatment meted out to him by some operatives the Nigeria Police Force.
