“WE WILL CONTINUE TO ADJOURN FROM DAY TO DAY TILL POLICE PRODUCE CASE FILE” … panel tells police

The Independent Investigative Panel on human rights violations by the disbanded Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) and other units of the Nigerian Police in Abuja, on Monday, told the Police that it will keep adjourning, from day to day, the case of alleged arbitrary arrest, detention and enforced disappearance of John Emeka Alozie if the police fail to produce the case file of the victim before the panel.

A complainant, Reverend Father Henry Ayo Sanni on Friday told the Independent Investigation Panel on Human Rights Violations by the defunct SARS and other units of the Nigeria Police Force how his younger brother, Mr. Femi Sanni was allegedly gunned down by the Police in Abuja in 2007.
